簡介： Hemictenophora euplexioides lanyuensis出現於蘭嶼，外觀與典型的H. euplexioides不同，其前翅底色為更單一暗褐色，基部缺乏紅棕色斑，尤其在邊緣區，中區的翅室下有一狹窄的黑色區塊，而後翅內側一半之區域更黑。H. e. lanyuensis 雌雄翅型與顏色相似，但雌蟲較雄蟲稍大一些，且雌雄個體後翅的內部區域一樣黑；但H. e. euplexioides的雌蟲，此區則較邊緣的黑色區域白。此種的棲息地不是非常清楚。這個新的亞種是採集自沿海區域，幾乎全年都有。本種敘述主要引用Ronkay and Ronkay（1999）所發表文獻內容。 |

The wing shape and colouration of the sexes of H. e. lanyuensis are similar, the female only slightly larger than male (wingspan to males: 27-29 mm, that of females 29-31 mm), the inner area of hindwing is similarly darkened in both sexes while that of the female of H. e. euplexioides is characteristically paler than the dark marginal field. The habitat selection of the species is practically unknown. The specimens of the new subspecies were collected at the sea coast, practically in all periods of the year. The description of this speices based on the description of Ronkay and Ronkay (1999)." |
