描述： Homaloxestis myeloxesta是折角蛾科(Lecithoceridae)折角蛾亞科(Lecithocerinae)的成員。本種的前翅為灰色底，前緣為黃褐色；後翅為灰色，無其他翅紋；頭部背面為灰色，兩眼上方有白色線條。本屬(Homaloxestis)絕大多數成員翅紋都為灰色底。 A Brief Introduction: Homaloxestis myeloxesta represents one of the four Homaloxestis species in Taiwan and could be distinguished from the other three species by the yellow-brownish band along costa of forewing and a white band above the compound eye in dorsal view. However, Homaloxestis myeloxesta shares quite similar wing pattern with other species distributed in regions except Taiwan. Dissection and genitalia comparison are more reliable for identification than wing pattern. |

分布： 本屬(Homaloxestis</span>)在全世界共記錄有46種，絕大多數分佈於東方區，僅有兩種可於非洲區發現，而台灣共記錄四種。本種分佈於臺灣、日本與越南。</span></p> |
