名詞解釋： ［中華民國學術機構錄］收錄國內各學術研究機構、學會團體、大專院校及外國駐華文化經濟單位等各機構的基本資料，以供各界查閱參考及聯繫。 該機構錄共收國內1,046個學術單位，依其性質分為4類：第1類學術、學會團體（如中央研究院、中國圖書館學會）；第2類大專院校（如國立臺灣大學）；第3類國立、公立、私立、學術暨各專門圖書館（如國立中央圖書館）；第4類博物館暨文化、社教中心（如國立故宮博物院、臺北縣立文化中心、金門縣立社教館）。收錄之單位均以中英文依次詳列名稱、通訊地址、創立年月、負責人姓名，並以英文簡述該機構之組織、設立宗旨、活動／計畫概要及其出版品等，書末另附機構名稱中英文索引，中文按筆畫排列，英文依起首字母排列，以方便查索。 以下舉「國立故宮博物院」（頁1059-1060）為例來說明： National Palace Museum 國立故宮博物院 Head Office: 221 Chihshan Rd., Sec. 2, Wai-Shuang-Hsi, Shinlin, Taipei 11102, Taiwan, R.O.C. 臺北市士林區11102外雙溪至善路2段221號 Tel : (02)881-2121~4, 882-1230~3 Fax : (02)882-1440 Director: Chin, Hsiao-Yi（秦孝儀） Introduction: Founded in Peking in 1925, the Museum has occupied its present site since its reorganization in 1965. Five Thousand Years of Chinese Art series, 4 Chinese Art in Overseas Collections, 5.NPM Newsletter (quarterly)(E), 6.NPM Bulletin (bimonthly)(E) 該機構錄由國立中央圖書館國際出版品交換處根據問卷調查所編，提供給國內外各界了解我國學術機構及圖書館的現況。第1版於民國50年印行，由於各機構還有增減，同時資料也不時變動，故每隔若干年修訂一次，目前已是第7版。全書近1,200頁，由國立中央圖書館印行。 |
